Neshem

- Ivor Neshem was the postmaster at Neshem, and there were two of that name who homesteaded here: Iver[sic] Neshem at NW 30 47 21 W2 and Iver[sic] Neshem Jr at NW 4 47 21 W2 another Neshem also farmed here: John Neshem SW 4 47 21 W2
- To the west was Iranistan opened briefly after the closing of Neshem. Neshem and Norden opened in the same year. This eastern neighbor of Norden changed names to Prestfoss and closed before Neshem.
- Kyle (1) opened briefly about 5 miles west of Neshem. (The present day Kyle (2) is very south east of here)
- To the north of Neshem, was South Valley
- Weldon (south of Neshem) opened in the NWT and endured being the longest lasting neighbor of Neshem

An original settlement, now incorporated into a neighborhood of the city of Saskatoon
- Saskatoon in the early 1920's was located on the West side of the South Saskatchewan River
Nutana was on the south east side of the river at the junction of 2 CNR rail lines. One could travel west across the river to Yorath another Junction, or east to South Saskatoon , Duro and Clavet . On the other line North would travel across a separate bridge towards Saskatoon, and south would go to Grasswood , Haultain , Strehlow and Dundurn

- The post office at 28-36-5-W3 was named Saskatoon, NWT from 1884-1902, then Nutana, NWT 1902-1905, the Nutana, Sk from 1905-1919 before re-naming to being a part of Saskatoon, Sk
