To the Memory of
Bourneville School No. 3521
SW 2 24 18 W2
Built by the Pioneers of this area in 1915-16
and closed in 1959. It was named after a town
called Bourne in England.

In its 45years of operation, it had 210
registered students and 24 teachers.

The school was also used for church services
and community entertainment. In 1959, the
students were transported to the town of
Southey. In 1962 the school was sold and moved
to Southey.

Erected 1989 by the
Bourneville School 1988 Reunion Committee.
"Gathering, preserving and sharing
the history and folklore of Saskatchewan."
