STEPHEN WINDSOR.
A successful barrister and solicitor of Kamsack is Stephen Windsor, who was born in Chatham, Ontario, on the 29th of November, 1874, a son of Francis and Elizabeth (Hobbs) Windsor, who came to the province of Ontario from Manitoba about 1881. The father engaged in general farming there and he and his wife were beloved citizens of the community in which they resided. In the pursuit of his early education Stephen Windsor attended the public schools of his birthplace and subsequently entered Wesley College. In 1899 he was graduated with the LL. B. degree from Manitoba Uni- versitt. In 1908 he located in Regina and was associated with various law firms in that city until 1911. In 1912 he came to Kamsack, where he has practiced independently. He has built up an extensive and representative clientele and handles much important litigation before the courts. He has the distinction of being the first member of his profession to locate here. Mr. windsor was married to Miss Jane Kirk, and they became parents of six children, five of whom are living. Since coming to Kamsack, Mr. Windsor has taken an active interest in civic affairs and has served on of the public and high school board. His religious faith is that of the Presbyterian church.
