FRANK R. LOGAN.
Frank R. Logan is an enterprising young representative of the real estate and insurance business in Regina, being secretary and treasurer of the Armstrong-Logan Agency, Limited, of which he has been a member for the past eight years. His birth occurred in Carberry, Manitoba, on the 4th of March, 1888, his parents being Robert and Charlotte B. (Brent) Logan, both of whom are natives of Ontario, the former born in Toronto and the latter in Paris. Robert Logan, formerly active as a private banker, is now living retired at Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, where he served as Indian agent at one time. In politics he is a Liberal, while his re- ligious faith is that of the Presbyterian church. He has two sons~: Frank R., of this review; and Walter M., who is also associated with the Arm- strong-Logan Agency, Limited, of Regina. In the acquirement of an education Frank R. Logan attended the grade and high schools of his native city and after putting aside his textbooks secured a position in the Merchants Bank of Carberry, Manitoba, with which he continued for a number of years, being also employed in the Merchants Bank at Forget, Saskatchewan. He abandoned the banking business to take up the study of law and was thus engaged for a period at Carberry, Manitoba, at the same time conducting a local insurance agency. Next he spent a brief period on the road for a lumber company in Saskatchewan and in 1909 established his home in Regina. Here he was connected with Anderson~Lunney & Company, Limited, until 1915, when he became associated with James Edward Armstrong as secretary and treasurer of the Armstrong-Logan Agency, Limited, to the continued growth and success of which concern he has since contributed in notable measure, by reason of his excellent executive ability and sound judgment. He has specialized in hail insurance. In his political views Mr. Logan is a Liberal, and in religious faith he is an adherent of the Knox Presbyterian church. He belongs to the Assiniboia Club and the Wascana Country Club and is deservedly popular in both business and social circles of his adopted city. Bibliography follows:
