The school at Kinoosao would definitely have been a provincially funded school as a part of the Department of Education and the community development efforts, after the community was established by the D.N.R. in about 1952.
According to research done by Oystryk the first teacher there was a Mr. Frank Romarchuk, address or whereabouts unknown. The second teacher there was Mr. Ray Wanhella who resides in Humboldt. There is some locally written historical information available, as well as a good number of people who are still around and attended this school.
