ARTHUR JOHN REYNOLDS.
Arthur John Reynolds, manager of the Bank of Commerce at Prince Albert, was born in Sligo, Ireland, in November of the year 1884, a son of William P. and Marcella (Malloy) Reynolds. His parents came to Canada in 1887 and the father engaged in banking at St. Thomas and London, Ontario. He is now retired from active life and is making his home in London, where he is a highly esteemed and respected citizen. Mrs. Reynolds died in January, 1915. Arthur John Reynolds received his early education in the schools of St. Thomas, Ontario, and in due time was graduated from high school. When seventeen years of age he entered the employ of the Canadian Bank of Commerce. He has been stationed in several different places, for the most part in the province of Ontario. In 1911 he came west as manager of the bank at Lashburn and two years later he went to Ver- milion, Alberta, where he remained five years. In 1919 he came to Prince Albert as manager of the Bank of Commerce. In August, 1910, Mr. Reynolds was married to Miss Mona Sills, a daughter of George Sills. Her parents were natives of Ontario and still reside in that province. Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds are the parents of five children: Mary, eleven years of age; George N., aged ten; Aileen, eight years of age; Margaret, nicknamed Peggy, six years of age; and Bernard, three years of age. Mr. Reynolds is now serving as president of the Sas- katchewan Board of Trade and vice president of the Prince Albert Board of Trade; is a director of the Saskatchewan Musical Association and of the local Kiwanis Club; president of the Prince Albert Bankers Clearing House Association and chairman of the finance committee of the Prince Albert Agricultural Society. Fraternally he is identified with the Knights of Columbus and is provincial secretary of that organization. He was the first president of the Keewatin Club and is an active member of the Prince Albert Golf Club. He is chief executive of the Prince Albert Motor League and a member of the Separate School Board. His religious faith is that of the Catholic church and he is a member of the Sacred Heart choir. Mr. Reynolds is interested in boys and girls and was the originator of the Boys and Girls Pig Club in this district. Bibliography follows:
