Things My Dad Fred Chapman (Kiemele) Taught Me. - 2008



  1. Expect to work very hard for everything – like he did.

  2. Never waste- Dad was gifted for his ability to see potential for materials that many others would discard. He could make something from nothing.

  3. Never miss an opportunity. If an opportunity comes, run with it.

  4. Never pay the full price- wait for a bargain or buy second hand if possible.

  5. If you can’t succeed one way keep trying alternate ways until you succeed.

  6. Live frugally, work hard and invest your money. Real Estate is a good investment.

  7. Be your own person- never follow the crowd.

  8. Moral and ethical values are everything especially for women!

  9. Help your family in tough times; we all have them.

  10. Never discuss personal income with anyone.

  11. Be a possibility thinker. Think, analyze and take action.

  12. Live a full productive life regardless of adversity. Don’t accept limitations.

  13. Courage is everything.

  14. Learn how to handle stress well. Mishandled, it can bring harm to all.

  15. Be happy with a simple basic life.

  16. Dad made his peace with God close to his passing. He then gave me some money to buy a Bible for myself. He believed there was a spiritual side to life.
