Hilltop Curling Rink is about 3 miles away, and the church is between the curling rink and the school house along the same road. According to Bill Barry in his book Geographic Names of Saskatchewan, the original naming of this school was Eckardt school district 426 in 1896, and in 1899 this name changed to Hill Top #426. The Eckardt's were involved as postmasters at the Crescent Lake Post office in this area. The Eckardt's also homesteaded here. Taken by Red Lauttamus.
